I cut my hair a few weeks ago and I have decided to leave my hair natural, no more chemicals or colors. I guess all those chemicals are affecting my health.

This is Candelaria Sanchez. She has been a member of the church for 23 years and this is the first time she has been in the temple to do baptisms. She doesn't speak english so I was translating for her the whole time. She told me when we were done that she felt that a huge weight has dropped from her and she felt happy and peaceful.
These are a few of the members from the Tomé branch.
We joined the Belen youth and did 493 baptisms that night!!!
After we were done in the temple, we went to Dion's.
Thank you Celestine for babysitting Mario.
Note: These picture look so blurry, sorry. Now I need to get in contact with the Washington DC temple, where I was sealed to my family when I was a child because it doesn't appear that I'm sealed to my parents. The temple right now is under maintenance so I'll have to wait until the 28th to talk to them.

I bought this pool for Mario and I have been so busy that he haven't use it outside but he loves to hang out in there. Its like his man cave.
Mario is 20 months old and I'm training him to use the toilet. Mario has being getting really bad diaper rash. He thinks going #2 is a game, so every time he goes "caca" in the toilet, I give him an Oreo double filling. He just used the toilet once, but the rest of the times I had to clean the floor.
I did it Mami!!!
Ready to go daddy.
I'm training to become an AI.
I wont give up. He will learn how to use the toilet hopefully sooner than later.

When I was seven months pregnant I was 200 pounds (20 months ago). After giving birth I was 180 pounds. Right now I'm 145 pounds and I keep losing weight without even trying. Well, like everybody knows I'm always hot, even in winter. My body temperature is usually 99.7 degrees. I get depressed, I can't exercise because I can't breath, I get too upset for nothing, my heartbeats are too fast, I'm always tired but I can't sleep, and I'm losing weight even though I eat like a pig. I'm just 24 and I have all these problems, why?
I went to the doctor and I got diagnosed with hyperthyroidism which is caused by too much thyroid hormone production . Only 5% of women in the US develop this condition a year after giving birth. I told all my friends about this and they thought I was joking and some of them even wished to have the same. I really didn't care too much because I was losing weight until my heart was hurting and my heartbeats were at 120 when a normal heart beat should be between 80-100 and that my thyroids can start looking like the picture below. My doctor gave me some awesome medicines that are taking care of my heart and my thyroid. Dr Luke Lujan told me that after a few weeks all the symptoms including depression will go away, hopefully. I'm feeling great right now.
So don't feel bad if you are not losing weight like me because this comes with heart problems.
I'm just sharing this with you guys because maybe one of you have or had the same condition and if you feel like something is wrong don't listen to anyone but yourself and go to get checked because I have done this 3 times (with my pregnancy, when Mario had the surgery, and when I felt funny in my heart) and I had prevented worse things.

So while on vacation, we also took a couple of videos with our awesome new camera (Olympus Stylus Tough 8000), including some underwater video! (The camera is waterproof to 10m!) Also, when we got home, our cool $8 glasses arrived (get your own here!). Here's some pictures:
Me with my cool $8 glasses.
Here is Mario at the beach for the first time ever.
Here is an underwater movie of me feeding the fish on our snorkeling excursion.
Finally, this last video was taken at church today. This is what Mario does instead of sitting quietly and paying attention.

We went to the Dominican Republic almost two weeks ago to support my sister Jhulissa with her marriage. We didn't spend too much time with her but we were glad to be there.
Mario met his cousin Julio Jr; those two were inseparable.
The pictures above where at my Dad's farm. The farm is 20 minutes away from my parent's house.
Jhulissa and Vlady Parra.
It was so hot at the wedding. I was so uncomfortable. The temperature was 94 degrees with 100% humidity. I got a horrible rash on my neck and my hair looks really gross because I was sweating so much.
This is my best friend since 5th grade Leslie. She is so nice and pretty.
My brother Julito threw a "barbeque" to welcome us. It was really nice and they had some Mariachis to play the whole night. He did that so we would feel at home. (Of course they were singing Dominican bachata songs instead of Mexican mariachi songs...)
My dad, mom, brother and I. Can you see how frizzy my hair was?
My brother and I.
The party ended late. It was so hot that my dad and Junior slept outside of the house.
Jared in my brother's house. The whole house has Italian marble floors and beatiful wood work.
Like I said before it was so hot outside and in (94% all the time) and my parents dont have air conditioning or eletricity for more than 6 hours at day. We put Mario in a bucket full of water and he was so pleased.
Papi playing basketball with Mario.
Taking advantage of the cool rain.
The last three days were the best, in my opinion. We stayed at a 4 star hotel in Punta Cana, which is a really exclusive part of the island. I had never been there before being married.
This hottie is my mom. I think she is gorgeous.
Every day for lunch and dinner we had this delicious dessert.
Mario was enchanted by the sea. He loves to get in the water and play with the sand.
Jared and I got an awesome deal to go snorkeling for 15 bucks each. They took us were the corals are and we saw the cute fish.
The boat had glass windows in the bottom.
There were some parts that had sharks in a cage and dolfins too but it was too pricey and stupid to do that. What kind of people would pay to swim with skarks?
I think next time we are going to try scuba diving.
Mario looks so cute and sweet in these pictures.
Kissing the sand...
Cutest tushy ever.
My dad and I tried to ride a kayak but my dad didn't want to go to the deep part. He is scared of drowing because it almost happened when he was younger. My dad and Junior were so scared, so Jared and I decided to ride one kayak together .
