Ready for church

This week we have been really busy. On Friday we had our Stake Temple night and we stayed at Celestine's house that night. Cel and Mike babysat for us (on their anniversary). It was the first time that I let anyone take care of Mario, and I was almost getting ready to cry in the temple because I was missing my little man. Mario always cries with us, but when grandma and grandpa took care of Mario he didn't cry and he was a good boy. We felt a little sad, because we couldn't understand why Mario is always crying with us in public but not with other people.

Well, we went to church this morning (by the way the crackers with cheese and ham were a good snack for the workshop after church), Mario was a good boy but at the third hour Mario started to get fussy and we couldn't make him happy. A friend of ours, Rudy, took him and he stopped crying. I was mortified, Mario made us look like we were horrible parents. I was a little upset with him so I tried to have a serious conversation after church with Mario, but it was not possible, Mario always smiles at me and makes me forget that I'm upset with him.

Mario and Jared ready to go to church. I love Marios little shirt, isn't it cute?

Papi and Mami smiling to the camera, Mario not so much.

Have you ever done something like this?

I prepared a Chicken salad ( the best chicken salad that I have ever made) for a church activity tomorrow after church, well the thing is the salad came out so good that I don't want to give it away. What should I do? Should I bring it to the activity or should I bring some crackers with cheese and jam and keep the salad?

5 months old!

Time goes by extremely fast. I can't believe that baby Mario is already five months old, and he weighs 12 pounds. He is so cute. This is Mario on his little horse. Mario loves his rattle shoes that Andrea R. got for him.
Mario is almost talking, he grabs stuff, he recognizes us and when Jared plays the guitar he loves to sing along.

I love to be naked.
Mami bought me this new outfit
Don't you wish your baby was hot like me?
Mami, I think I poo'd my pants
Now I'm a clean and happy baby
I love my outfit

My daddy making a funny face
Naked again...I know,a rare moment, my smiling...weird
Mami, papi y yo
Papi can you come and pick me up? I miss you

College, postgrad?

After reading about Travis and Mel's blog being at the grade school reading level, I put in our address and this is what we got:

blog readability test

How is it that a blog consisting mostly of pictures of baby Mario end up with a postgrad reading level?

I put in my old blog, and got this:

I guess I really am a genius!

Reading the book of Mormon

I'm going to start reading Mosiah. The hardest part so far was reading 2Nephi, but I did it. I guess this time out of school was the perfect time to read the the book of Mormon. I'm learning so much, and Mario is learning too, I read at loud.
I'm so happy for the gospel and for the opportunity to spend time with family. I guess nothing compares with the joy of having a beautiful family and knowing that we are going to be together forever.

garfield minus garfield

Don't know how many of you know about this site, but this is a comic I've been reading for a couple months now:

Funniest. Comic. Ever.

From the site's description: Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life? Friends, meet Jon Arbuckle. Let’s laugh and learn with him on a journey deep into the tortured mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness in a quiet American suburb.

Check it out.

Rice cereal

Mario ate for the first time baby food. He loves his rice cereal. He took away from me the spoon and later was choking with it.
