Today Jared and I went to see our midwife for our monthly appointment and we heard for the first time the baby's heart beat. It was so exciting!!! Jared was in shock, I won't forget his face, he was so happy.

Our Vacations... Part 2

Caribbean Sun Beach
Junior, Jared y Papi

We visited the Colonial zone in the Dominican Republic. The next picture is Christopher Columbus's house

The first Christian church in this continent.
Ozama's Fort

We had dinner at Angelo's, a nice little restaurant in front of Christopher Columbus's house. It was beautiful and cozy.

Our Vacations... Part 1

We had a long trip to the Dominican Republic. It took us a whole day to get there.
Our stops were in Dallas, Orlando, Miami and finally the DR. We stayed at a resort the first three days, it was fun. We walked on the beach at night, it was really romantic. We really love spending time with each other.

This is when we arrived at the hotel, we changed our clothes and went to the beach. No time to waste!

We walked on the beach at night and it was so romantic, just Jared and I.

The buffet of the restaurant was open until two in the morning, so after a long walk on the beach we had a nice dinner and went to bed.

At the hotel's pool

This is our baby growing... we are so happy, we can't wait to see our baby

We went to a small dance club called Moon. I really liked it, everything inside was white and the music was good.

I love this picture of us, it looks great

Jared and I dancing at the club, Jared is a great dancer. He has learned so much, I'm so proud of him.

Jared and I were watching some television at my parents house when this HUGE spider appeared on the ceiling of the house. Jared and I freaked out and started yelling and my mom came and defended us from the horrible spider that almost killed Jared from a heart attack.

This is my older brother Julito. He was at a fair promoting his company. He is such a cute little man.

My dad opening a coconut with a machete.

Jared and I kayaking to the island 'LA MATICA' at Boca Chica.

Wonderful News for Us!

Hello everybody!!

I'm so excited for the wonderful things that are happening in my life right now, I'm always looking at the positive side... God must be really pleased with me, and I know that He is because my bishop told me too. I'm going to the Dominican Republic for two wonderful weeks with my wonderful, supportive husband Jared, that loves me no matter what. I'm pregnant, and I got accepted by UNM!!! Wow! A nice vacation in the Caribbean and I get to see my parents too!!
But wait, I saved the best news for last: Today..... I received my letter from the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services confirming the replacement of my temporary residency by a permanent one and next year I will be a CITIZEN!!! I know that there were a lot of people concerned about me being deported to the DR because poor Jared will be so lonely if I was deported, even though I know that Jared will go with me until the end of the world.
Now I'm a legitimate resident of this country, so you better start loving me because I will be here for a while! :)
